Influenza vaccine

Dear Parents,

In partnership with the DEDICARE medical centre, FIS will be hosting a vaccination campaign for students to protect against the seasonal flu.

The vaccination will occur on Saturday, 5th October, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Jardine's and Tseung Kwan O campuses. This initiative is part of the Hong Kong government's "Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (VSS) 2024/25."

As per the Hong Kong government's recommendations, vaccination will be provided at no cost for all students under 18 years of age.

The vaccine offered will be Sanofi's Quadrivalent inactivated influenza vaccine, manufactured in France, and will be administered as an injectable dose; the nasal spray option is currently unavailable. If you are interested, please register HERE before Friday, 20th September (prior registration is essential; walk-ins will not be accepted).

To validate your child's registration, you must:

• Provide a copy of your child's ID (please note that foreign students must provide a passport copy and a copy of a valid visa)

• Complete and upload the Consent to Use Vaccination Subsidy Vaccination Subsidy Scheme Department of Health

• Fill in and upload the Dedicare consent form

Please ensure that registered students are accompanied by an adult on the vaccination day.
